The two main things when ordering a custom printed pop-up tent are size and graphics.
Pop-up tents come in a variety of sizes; 5×5. 8×8, 10×10, and 10×20.These sizes indicate the “footprint” or how much real estate, length and width the tent will take up. Larger tents are frame tents that require some assembly, some bracing and some tools.
While the peak of the tent may reach as high as 10′, the valence, or the part that you walk under is usually a little more than 6′ high.
Once you determine the amount of space you are working with, and the amount of space you need to conduct whatever activity you plan on doing under the tent, you can determine and select the size of tent that is needed.
A custom printed tent has lots of opportunities for graphics. You have the peaks or the triangle spaces at the top of the tent, and the valences or horizontal surfaces on the face of the tent. The normal tent has four peaks and four valences.
In addition, you can add a back wall, side walls or side or front rails or skirts (fabric that only goes half way up the frame to enclose the tent wile still providing visibility and access from about 3′ up). You can choose to print on the inside of these wall, the outside or both.
Templates are available on which to design and place your graphics. All images should be large enough to be at least 72 dpi at full size. Vector files are preferable.
